Our Team is Led By

Dr. Greg Brown

Medical Director, Board-Certified in Internal Medicine, Fellowship trained in Integrative Medicine

Dr. Greg Brown is board certified Internal Medicine doctor, with a focus on integrative medicine. He received his medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio in 2006. He completed his internal medicine residency in Albuquerque, New Mexico, in 2009. He completed a 2-year fellowship at the Andrew Weil Center for Integrative Medicine. Before going into Medicine he was a registered nurse, working in the Austin HIV Clinic and at the Austin State Hospital, and before that, he was a nurse aide. His goal is to provide compassionate care for all, without judgment.

With a father from Kerrville and mother from San Antonio, Dr. Brown has always had a love for Central and South Texas. It has been his dream for years to open a clinic serving the South side of San Antonio and he is pleased and fairly amazed to see this come to fruition. He looks forward to many years serving his community  and neighbors in the area.

When not in clinic, he is almost certain to be found nearby working on the demonstration garden projects for his patients, exploring with his dogs, or in his greenhouse with assistance from his cats. He and his wife Hannah also share a love for travel, particularly on medical missions to the Middle East or exploring medicines and foods from around the world.

Dr. Janell Wilson

Board-Certified in Family Medicine

Dr. Janell Wilson is a North Carolina native who now proudly calls Texas home. She graduated from Howard University College of Medicine with an M.D. and Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology.

She completed her residency training in Family and Community Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania/Lancaster General Health Family and Community Medicine program in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.

Dr. Wilson is board certified in Family Medicine, with a special interest in the social and behavioral needs of the family as a unit. She brings over 10 years of experience in caring for children, adults, and the geriatric population in both the traditional and urgent care setting. In her free time she enjoys watching movies, painting, photography and spending time with her husband, two young children, and her dogs.

The Gebito Medical Team

To achieve the best, personalized care plan for you and your family, we believe in building a partnership between you and your physician and care team. We have a wonderful group here to support you.

Our team includes the most highly trained people who have come together in a desire for service. These include an acupuncturist, a psychotherapist, a dietician, an herbalist, a physical therapist, a hypnotist, and movement instructors. All here with the goal to support you in improving your health and wellbeing. In addition, we will work with you to find affordable subspecialist care in San Antonio, when necessary and if we are unable to provide it.

Most of our collaborators listed here teach classes in our rotating series as a benefit for members, and also have independent practices that can be reached as listed below.

What is Direct Primary Care?

DPC is a more accessible alternative payment model for high-quality primary care. For a low monthly fee, and zero copayments or deductible, you get appointments when you need them and plenty of time for each appointment. And a team that will work with you to get you as healthy as you can possibly be.

As a DPC provider, Gebito Medical is focused on you, the patient. As advocates for your health and wellbeing, we provide services based on mutual communication and on our duty to you. The simple flat monthly fee covers comprehensive primary care services (medical care, preventive care and counseling, lifestyle counseling, advocacy and help with coordinating other health care), and unlocks wholesale-cost lab work, free electronic consultations with subspecialists (such as endocrinology, cardiology, nephrology), and free monthly classes, with additional services available as add-ons.

Direct Primary Care enables physicians and patients to define their relationship without third-parties (Insurance companies) dictating how medical care is provided. It is a model increasingly used to take us back to a time when you knew your doctor, and when your doctor actually knew you.
